Lessons Learned: 20/20

LESSONS LEARNED: 20/20

To mark the 20th anniversary of Lessons Learned, Earth Day Initiative's leading green buildings publication, we are launching an all-new online platform called Lessons Learned: 20/20.  The platform aims to engage the building industry and the broader public around sustainable design and building with all new content on some of the latest projects and players in the green building field, as well as an archive of all of the past articles that were developed in the previous eight issues of Lessons Learned

As in any other field, it is always best practice to look at what has worked and what hasn’t and learn from our experiences.  Since it is often true that hindsight is 20/20, we hope to draw on the lessons learned from those ambitious professionals who have paved the way in the green building field so that others can follow on the path to sustainability with as much information as possible to ensure success.

In addition to the all-new web platform, we are launching a new volume of Lessons Learned focused on LEED v4.  The volume contains current guidance and direction from the USGBC and other sources into a succinct and informative tip sheet to help LEED practitioners understand, implement and document the new LEED v4 requirements.  The resources were developed in cooperation with the USGBC and GBCI and other partners.  Download the volume here for free.

You can also check out all of our past volumes of Lessons Learned under Publication Downloads below.
